Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is a famous American model and actress. A talent agent discovered her talent and urged her to pursue a career as a model or actor. After some thought and debate she decided to leave the college to pursue a career as an entertainer. In the film "Children of the Corn Fields of Terror", she made her acting debut but was not pleased in the end. She spent plenty of time honing acting skills and was featured in some low-budget productions in order to show her abilities.
