Tracy Spiridakos has been nominated as the most outstanding Actress on TV for NBC's post-apocalyptic sci-fi show Revolution. Spiridakos' parents are Greek. Her birthplace was at Winnipeg Manitoba. Her family relocated to the Greek town of Skala close to Sparta at the age of four. She returned to Canada at the age of nine. She strongly identifies herself with her Greek family and heritage, and she is proficient in Greek. She was a student at Oak Park High School, Winnipeg. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver at the end of 2007 in order to pursue acting, and within weeks landed her first television role, a small part on Supernatural.
