 Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast (born May 7, 1998) is an American YouTube personality and an entrepreneur. The YouTube personality has been credited with pioneering a genre of YouTube videos that centers on costly stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. At 13 years old, Donaldson started posting YouTube videos with the name "MrBeast6000". His initial videos were primarily Let's Plays and videos estimating other YouTubers' riches. In 2017 the "counting up to 100,000" YouTube video became viral. He was 13 years older and was using the username "MrBeast6000". His first videos were Let's Plays and videos about estimating other YouTubers' wealth. Donaldson employed a number of his childhood friends as his assistants for his expanding channel. As of 2022 the MrBeast team was made up of 60 people.Donaldson's main YouTube channel, which reached 100 million subscribers on the 28th of July in 2022, is known as "MrBeast".
