 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and started her career shortly after emigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actor. From 2013 until 2016 she worked as the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020. She gained fame for her role in television commercials. She was also a frequent series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). She also had the role of a regular character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub has also voiced Squirrel Girl in the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being chosen to voice Squirrel Girl in the unaired television pilot for New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish and born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and she were exiled from antisemitism as young as two years old. They emigrated to the U.S. with their children. Her family's financial difficulties led to her acting in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. But, she quit her sophomore year and obtained the GED. Then she went on to earn the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. She learned improv comedy from the Upright Citizens Brigade
